PROJECT: Ellsworth Drive, 2024 and 2025
LOCATION: Silver Spring, Maryland
GROUND: Asphalt
SHIFT: We have helped transform an entire city block into a pedestrian plaza. A space that was once used for street parking—full of oil slicks and risky for pedestrians and cyclists— is now a public plaza that hosts cafe tables, skateboarders, dog-walkers, parents with strollers, farmer’s markets and more! Since 2021, we have repainted it annually with a new design.
